Biden said that he was deeply saddened and outraged by the explosion at the hospital in Gaza.

He said to Israely PM, "based on what I've seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not you."

That evaluation from Biden appears to have changed rapidly and within a short period of time.

Biden stated that he was in Israel to let Israelis and the rest of the world know "where the United States stands.

He also said that “Americans are grieving with you” and worried because “this is not an easy field to navigate.”

According to US President he will "make sure" that Israel continues to get the defense support it needs to protect itself at this time.

He also said in Israel that Hamas “does not represent all the Palestinian people” and has “brought them only suffering.”

President Joe Biden visited the war-torn region on Wednesday and entered Israel under tight security.

The US President also made a brief mention of the necessity of Gaza receiving humanitarian aid to assist Palestinians.

Biden has been praised by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his "unequivocal" support for Israel.

Netanyahu said, "“I've seen your support every day and the depth and breadth of cooperation that we have had since the beginning of this war."
