Keyword Cloud & Density Heatmap

Analyze your website's content to find the most used keywords.

How to use?

  • Enter the full URL of the page you want to analyze.
  • Our tool will fetch the page content and strip away HTML tags.
  • It filters out common stop words (like "the", "and", "is") to focus on meaningful keywords.
  • Results are displayed as a visual word cloud (larger words = higher frequency) and a detailed density table.

When Your Content Speaks, What Does It Actually Say?

A density table tells you “running shoes” appears 15 times. But a cloud shows you that “running” and “shoes” are giant boulders in the centre, while “cushioning,” “stability,” and “trail” are tiny specks on the edge. That visual imbalance screams, “Your content is shallow.” The Keyword Cloud Density tool turns any text or URL into an interactive, beautifully sized word cloud where font size represents frequency. In a single glance, you grasp the thematic shape of your content. Hover over any word to see its exact count and density. Click a word to see every sentence where it appears, for qualitative context. The tool is fast, visual, and makes keyword stuffing (or keyword absence) glaringly obvious. It also supports bigrams and trigrams, so “social media” appears as one chunk, not two separate words.

Why a Cloud Complements the Numbers

Raw density numbers are precise but abstract. A cloud is intuitive. Your brain processes size and colour instantly. If your target keyword is medium‑sized but a stop word like “also” is huge, you know you’ve got editing to do. The cloud also reveals unexpected patterns: maybe you keep writing “importantly” and “however,” diluting your message. Replacing those with semantic keywords sharpens your content. The tool’s unique feature—clicking a word to read its surrounding sentences—grounds the visual in actual writing. You don’t just see that “free” is big; you see that you use it mostly in “free trial,” which is excellent, but also in “free from,” which might be unintended.

Step‑by‑Step: Generate and Read Your Cloud

  1. Paste text or enter a URL. The tool extracts the main content body.
  2. Set preferences. Choose n‑gram length (1 for single words, 2 for phrases like “digital marketing”). Toggle stop words off. Set max words displayed to 50 or 100.
  3. Click “Generate Cloud.” The canvas fills with words sized by frequency.
  4. Hover to see counts. Click any word to open a side panel showing every sentence where it appears.
  5. Identify gaps. Is your primary keyword prominently large? Are expected related terms present and reasonably sized? If “backlinks” is tiny in an article about link building, you need to expand.
  6. Download the cloud as a PNG for content briefs, or share the live link with your team.

Use Cases Beyond SEO

  • Editing for clarity: A writer can spot repetitive crutch words and replace them with variety.
  • Competitor analysis: Generate clouds for the top 3 ranking pages. The shared large terms are must‑cover topics; unique large terms are differentiation angles.
  • Brand voice monitoring: Run your homepage copy through the cloud. The biggest words should be your brand values, not generic terms.
  • Student and academic use: Visualise essays to check if the thesis words dominate.

Integration with Your Content Toolkit

For the precise numbers behind the cloud, use the Keyword Density Analyzer. The SEO Analyzer checks if your meta tags reflect the cloud’s prominent terms. If the cloud reveals a strong focus on a secondary topic, consider a new dedicated page and add it to your Sitemap. For that new page, the Schema Generator adds rich snippets. The SERP Simulator helps craft a snippet that includes the cloud’s top terms. Track social shares of that content with Social Analytics. The cloud is a creative starting point for deeper, data‑driven optimisation.
